Men’s Program

[Individual Program Application]

Our Men’s Transitional Housing Program serves single men experiencing homelessness or leaving incarceration looking to move toward housing stability and self-sufficiency.

We provide up to 18 months of stable housing and supportive case management to help individuals get on their feet, recover from addiction, and move forward with their lives. Ithaka has a 12-bedroom group home called Shore House that provides transitional housing for individuals. Every resident must be committed to full-time work and/or school. Residents pay a program fee of $550/month, which provides a private room and case management services.

Potential candidates must meet these minimum qualifications:

  • 25 years and older 
  • Male identifying 
  • Ability to obtain and maintain employment
  • Accountability and honesty, substance use under control and actively working on long-term sobriety
  • Self sufficient 
  • Ability and willingness to abide by house rules 
  • No SVP (sexually violent predator) or murder convictions
